About the Author
Bill is a creative trainer and facilitator with over 35 years’ experience in community development. He is passionate about participatory approaches and tools for community and organisational development and has worked with both International NGOs and grassroots organisations sector in this country and overseas. He originally trained in tropical agriculture and has been involved in livelihood development and disaster preparedness for a number of agencies including World Vision, UNDP /FAO, World Vision, Christian Aid, INTRAC, Tearfund, Tear NL, Cafod and Oxfam.
He is a co-director of Mosaic Creative, a small training organisation specialising in community development using the creative arts. He has co-written and illustrated a number of community development training materials for use in urban priority areas in the UK as well as in communities in Africa, Asia and South America.
