After graduating with a degree in Fine Art in 2000, Stacey Olson joined the Interactive team at CHUM Television, formerly one of Canada’s national television conglomerates in Toronto. Along with an innovative team of 30 she helped create some of the first SMS and digital media collaborations in Canadian television. This was the height of the Dot Com era just as the internet was turning the corporate world upside down. Realizing her role as an educator in this process, Stacey joined the team at Experience It, Inc. and helped coordinate and facilitate large scale experiential workshops for corporate clients.
In 2005 Stacey decided to follow in her family’s footsteps and complete her Bachelor of Education at The University of Western Ontario. Soon after she joined the Peel District School Board, one of the largest school boards in Canada, and taught elementary and middle school in the Greater Toronto Area.
Later, Stacey and her fiancé moved to Vancouver to be closer to her family where Stacey decided to return to corporate training and professional development. In 2012 she started the Collaborative Lead Training Co. and has been helping corporate clients create awesome training materials ever since.
