Merry Christmas from Healthy Leaders!
Plus: the top posts from Healthy Leaders and Malcolm Webber this year.
Dear friends,
We are so grateful that you’ve joined us this year at Healthy Leaders!
As we look back on the work of God in our lives and the lives of the leaders we serve around the world this year, we are amazed at what God has done. We have so many plans for the new year, including brand new series on leading well, leaders and managers, and building leaders. We also have some exciting new projects lined up for 2025, so stay tuned.
However, as we close out 2024, the primary thing on our minds is just how good our God is.
"Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory." (1 Timothy 3:16)
We serve an incredible and glorious God, a God who took on flesh and knows what it is like to be human. This is a great mystery, one which should increase our awe and adoration of Jesus throughout the year, let alone at Christmas.
God has done mighty things in 2024, and He will do mighty things in the new year through us, for us, and in us!
In keeping with the spirit of the season, we’ve gift-wrapped a few of our favorite posts this year from Healthy Leaders and

Introducing "What Is Leadership"
“We cannot leave the people of God shepherdless. And while we grow as healthy leaders, we need to know what “leadership” really is.”
Breaking Down the Definition of a Leader
“One reason we’ve been seeing Christian leaders failing time and again is because they have chosen to manage their image, as opposed to fulfill their responsibility as a leader to bring people to a better place.”
How Jesus Built Alignment
“This is what alignment can look like: total personal dependence on God, setting an example for your followers, and giving them the opportunity to take hold of the vision in real, practical ways.”
The Three Horizons
“Risk-taking doesn’t just involve aiming at some far-off goal to the exclusion of the work before you and your organization. We must be strategic, attending to multiple time frames at once — immediate responsibilities, emerging needs, and future opportunities. This is how we move the people toward the accomplishment of the vision before us.”
Leadership Is Movement
“If the essence of leadership is movement, then when there is no movement: there is no leadership!”
The Best of Malcolm’s Musings: 2024
Christian Dream Interpretation
“The practice of learning how to interpret dreams has no basis in the Bible but is deeply rooted in the occult. It should not be practiced in the Church!”
Is God Against Medical Science?
“The Word of God, and not the errors of men, is the basis of our faith. An extreme and unbalanced faith will not help the people of God but will only lead them into bondage, pain and disaster. In the Word of God there is life and victory!”
Is Healing in the Atonement?
“True faith holds the tension between the promises of God and the reality that we are in a time of transition. True faith holds both at the same time… During our current transitional time in this life, we should pray for the sick using the profound declaration of the three Hebrew boys who knew and deeply trusted their God: “Our God whom we serve is able to heal us. And He will heal us! But, if not, we will serve Him anyway.”
Did Jesus Work Miracles Because He Was God or Because He Depended on God?
“We should hold strongly to both the deity and humanity of Christ without diminishing either one, in spite of the fact that we cannot answer every question about this. We should stay with what the Word of God clearly teaches and not go beyond that.”
The Error of the Manifested Sons of God
“False teachings like the manifested sons of God appeal to people’s pride and desire to be part of an elite group. Moreover, they distract the Church away from her true mission of preaching the Gospel and making disciples to trying to subdue and dominate the kingdoms of this world.”
We are so grateful to you for your friendship in the Gospel, and your support of our work in the nations. Our prayer is that these letters have been of deep encouragement to you in your walk with God and in your leadership. May God bless you richly in the new year!
And Merry Christmas from all of us at Healthy Leaders! Until next time (in 2025), we’re with you.
— Chris
