About the Author

Bill Gaultiere, Ph.D. and his wife Kristi Gaultiere, Psy.D are psychotherapists, spiritual directors, and the Co-Founders of Soul Shepherding, a ministry to pastors and leaders. They offer a free weekly Soul Shepherding Devotional and over 600 free resources on SoulShepherding.org. He is also the author of You Can Live in Jesus’ Easy Yoke. Soul Shepherding cultivates intimacy with Jesus for pastors, pastors’ wives, ministry leaders, and caregivers because abiding in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only source of lasting joy and fruitfulness (John 15:5, 11). Bill and Kristi Gaultiere lead the ministry of Soul Shepherding. As Christ-centered Psychotherapists since 1987, they have helped hundreds of people overcome problems with anxiety, depression, compulsive behavior, marriage conflicts, and burnout. As Spiritual Directors they help people to hear God’s voice and experience his love. But Bill and Kristi don’t just sit in their office and wait for pastors and leaders to call, they also offer themselves as soul friends. They meet with ministry leaders at coffee shops, walking trails, homes, churches, and retreat centers. They offer safe, caring connections in private conversations and  groups. And they train pastors and leaders to care for still other pastors and leaders.
