Leaders are aware of their need for the strength, guidance and protection that comes from God through prayer, but often struggle with how to increase their prayer base.
Effective focused intercessory prayer takes effort, but can mean the difference between success and failure for the leader.
Organizing a trained, committed team of trusted intercessors ensures that our leaders are covered in prayer as they press forward in their ministries.
Linda and Patty have decades of practical experience in prayer support teams. This presentation is for both leaders who want to build up their prayer support, and prayer warriors who want to be more effective in praying for leaders.
We will cover how to form a prayer team, principles to help a prayer team function well in supporting the leader, and what is necessary to keep the team motivated in prayer.

About Patty and Linda
Patricia Katzer came to know Jesus at age 19 through reading the Bible. For over 30 years, she has been serving the Body of Christ in prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare. She is dedicated to honoring the Lord Jesus and helping Christians experience the freedom He paid for on the Cross. She has written various materials relating to prayer and has worked to organize and maintain prayer as central to Christian life and ministry. Patty and her husband Mark have been with LeaderSource as prayer support since its founding. They have eight grown children (one in heaven), and 12 grandchildren.
Linda Shankster came to the U.S. after being raised in Nigeria as a child of missionaries. She began a deep walk with God over 30 years ago after her husband passed away. Her life experiences in raising their five children alone brought her into a strong dependence on God and a compassionate heart for God’s people. She has been serving with LeaderSource since its founding by caring for leaders through counseling, mentoring and prayer. She enjoys her friendship with her grown children and 10 grandchildren.
