About the Author

Robert Walter is the Training ​Director ​for LeaderSource SGA, an international ministry that trains experienced ministry leaders how to raise up emerging leaders. He facilitates U.S. based seminars and does frontline training and ministry in Asia and ​Latin America. Robert also serves on the leadership team of a network of churches called the Alliance of Renewal Churches (ARC). He is an adjunct​ faculty member at The Master’s Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota where he teaches on the subjects of discipleship, leader development, and grace for shame. Before being called into ministry, Robert had a successful career as a petroleum geologist in Texas where he later pastored a church. ​He makes his home in Virginia​ with his wife and a bunch of big shaggy dogs.
